We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team at the Hole 19 Bar & Grill located on site at the Fraser Glen Golf Course.
**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and beverages.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to maintain high service standards.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and drink recipes is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be knowledgeable about food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
