Manager, Community Investment

**You are passionate about community resilience and equity and know how to use investing as a tool for change. **As a **Manager, Community Investment**, you are ready to lead a new community investment strategy that is locally rooted and replicated across the country. Understanding that community investing can be deeply impactful and complex, you want to demonstrate your community knowledge to build and structure community-appropriate investment solutions.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**

**Partnership Builder and Community Connection**
- Find and build the right partnerships in the community to execute the new community investing strategy
- Find and build relationships to contract external experts in support of community investing market building and enablement
- Facilitate the development of innovative, scalable investment structures that fill financing gaps and are community-led
- Serve as the key anchor to the community for Rally
- Work with other community impact organizations to ensure a collaborative, ecosystem approach is taken
- Represent Rally externally at forums and events focused on community and place-based investing, community development, and philanthropy
- Work closely with the research and portfolio management teams to support in sourcing place-based investment opportunities

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following**:

- At least 8 years of relevant experience that includes:

- Experience working with community impact organizations (like local/place-based impact investing, philanthropy, and economic development organizations)
- Experience working in finance, investing, or impact investing
- Experience structuring creative financial tools
- Experience building partnerships from concept to execution
- Experience managing contractors to execute on large deliverables
