We have an opportunity for an **Investment Operations Analyst** to join our Operations team. Working closely with the Senior Investment Operations Analyst, the Manager of Portfolio Administration and the Chief Operating Officer/Chief Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

- Resolving global trade settlement issues for institutional client accounts and pooled funds across 25+ countries and 14+ currencies
- Performing daily reconciliations of global investment transactions and positions, ensuring accuracy and promptly resolving discrepancies
- Collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, custodians, clients, prime brokers and fund administrators to resolve complex trade discrepancies and operational issues
- Analyzing, recording and monitoring corporate actions in order to maintain an accurate record of positions and facilitate decisions by portfolio managers
- Preparing and distributing daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad-hoc reports to institutional clients and to internal stakeholders, including reports related to investment activities, performance, compliance, accounting, and regulatory requirements
- Supporting the delivery of accurate net asset values for our pooled funds by the fund administrator
- Supporting the implementation and testing of new operational systems and technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes
- Demonstrating an innovative and proactive approach by highlighting inefficiencies, risk and implementing improvements to streamline our processes
- Assisting with the implementation of new investment strategies, products and industry initiatives
- Writing and maintaining accurate procedural documentation
- Supporting the maintenance of regulatory standards and the commitment to ethical practices

**WHAT WILL YOU BRING?**
- 2+ years of experience in investment operations within a financial services firm or asset management company
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to investment operations, custody, clearing and settlements
- Knowledge of the trade lifecycle of global equities
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail and adeptness at problem solving
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external service providers

**Nice to Have (preferred but not required)**
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or equivalent
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle of derivatives - listed options, futures & FX forwards
- Familiarity with fund accounting and performance measurement
- Experience with Confluence Portfolio Accounting software and Bloomberg
