This position is responsible for care of children up to 5 years old in the Playroom while providing a safe and nurturing environment. The Playroom Staff will create a safe, caring, and engaging environment conducive to building trust with all members.

Looking to hire part time evenings and / or weekends.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet/interact professionally with members and children.
- Provide care to infants and toddlers including snack offerings and diaper changes.
- Engage children of all ages with a variety of group activities including craft making, swimming, and camp games.
- Prepare and serve snacks and/or meals.
- Respond to parents’ inquiries in a timely fashion.
- Promote health and wellness through hand washing, cleaning of toys, etc.
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment.
- Clean and organize playroom and putting away any hazard equipment.
- Support and assist other team members by conversing and contributing information on an ongoing basis.
- Personal/professional conduct demonstrates RGC Core Values and Code of Conduct. Demonstrates ethical principles in all daily activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Infant/Child First Aid Certificate or Standard First Aid/CPR C/AED is required
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check required.
- Early Childcare Level 1 is an asset
- Customer service focus
- Part time positions with evening availability - 4pm - 8:30pm and/or weekend day availability.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50-$24.31 per hour
