We're looking for a Marketing and Public Relations Lead to join our Toronto office Our agency specializes in social media, public relations, influencer marketing, events, and content creation. This person has at least one to two years of agency experience in a similar role and resides in the GTA.

The Account Lead executes the following skill sets by taking initiative and working independently.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research and competitive analysis to identify and define audiences during the strategy phase of client onboarding
- Manage client relations; meet with clients in a professional and punctual manner
- Participate and/or lead team brainstorms for creative assets and marketing campaigns
- Proactively stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technology in all aspects of your responsibilities
- Supports and leads Account Coordinators, manages communication, deadlines, and assigned projects

**Public Relations**
- Develop story angles and pitch calendars
- Source and build media lists with targeted, on-beat writers
- Build and maintain relationships with writers, editors, influencers, bloggers, and producers
- Organize and manage virtual and in-person events
- Strong copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills

**Social Media Marketing**
- Manage all social media initiatives on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including posting and scheduling
- Can write witty, on-brand captions
- Manage online community and organically build engagement
- Create social media calendars with the brand's tone, voice, and copy without grammatical errors for approval
- Provide editorial calendars for clients when required

- Clear communication with team and clients
- Take initiative and be resourceful, seeking answers before asking questions
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional, timely manner
- Support team projects and colleagues if and when needed
- Undertake tasks as assigned
- Treat colleagues, clients, contractors, and Vive affiliates in a professional, respectful manner
- A strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape & US landscape
- A strong understanding of how to use all social media platforms
