Sustainability Lead

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies and action plans.
- Set sustainability targets, KPIs, and benchmarks to track progress and success.
- Lead and manage sustainability programs across multiple sites and departments.
- Monitor and report on ESG metrics, including energy consumption and waste production/reduction.
- Oversee data collection and reporting for sustainability platforms such as CDP and EcoVadis.
- Develop policies, procedures, and training programs to promote sustainability practices within the organization.
- Engage with R&D and Business Development to drive development and sales of key sustainable platforms
- Engage with Operations to develop and support actions aimed at energy efficiency, waste reduction, and recycling
- Collaborate suppliers and external organizations to drive sustainability initiatives and achieve corporate goals.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a sustainability or environmental position
- 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- 1+ year of experience advising on regulations or standards relevant to sustainability.
- 1+ years of experience in a position that required influencing teams and driving change within an organization

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field
- 3+ years of experience working with or studying sustainability principles, ESG reporting, and relevant best practices.
- 2+ years of experience in packaging or related field
- 3+ years of experience proficiently using Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & Teams
- 1+ years of experience in project management or using project management skills, tools and technology
- 1+ year of experience effectively collaborating and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
- 1+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data

**Additional Details**:

- This position is 100% onsite
- This position requires occasional domestic and international travel up to 10% of the time
