As Plant Manager, your goal is to support your business unit in a positive and friendly atmosphere To do this, you'll have to
- Develop and implement a business strategy for your unit, in line with your business unit's vision;
- Demand and create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees in your unit, and promote sound health management by establishing OHS priorities and ensuring follow-up;
- Establish and monitor OHS priorities in line with corporate objectives;
- Maximize operational efficiency in his/her unit and ensure value for money;
- Ensure the implementation of standardized best practices in all areas of his unit's activities;
- Establish performance standards (availability, efficiency, FIT) in collaboration with the General Manager;
- Lead weekly team meetings to analyze KPIs, discuss and launch required action plans;
- Help implement optimization projects.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management or other relevant training;
- 10 to 15 years' experience in management and manufacturing;
- Ability to guide and coach team members;
- Have the leadership and collaborative spirit to inspire and mobilize teams to achieve excellence;
- The ability to understand customers' needs, issues and interests to develop solutions that enhance their experience;
- Possess the discernment to ensure effective follow-up and implementation of solutions, taking into account company priorities and appropriate decision-making;
- Demonstrate the ability to position oneself convincingly in an unpopular context and generate maximum support;
- Excellent communication skills, tact and political acumen;
- Ability to build and sustain a customer-focused culture based on a human approach;
- Be agile with various technological tools and familiar with SAP or other ERP software (an asset).
- Fluency in both French and English, to communicate easily with our units and partners in Quebec, the English-speaking provinces and the United States.
