**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced Drill Repair Technician to join the team in our Nisku, AB Division.

**Responsibilities**:
The Drill Repair Technician is a key member of the Equipment Division. The role responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Good comprehension when reading information and/or receiving verbal instructions as required to perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Advanced hydraulics knowledge and troubleshooting abilities
- Conduct full rebuild of the following drills: HL1560, HL710, RD314, RD315, RD525, COP1838+, MD20, HC50, HC25 as well as Stopers and Jacklegs following OEM guidelines
- Inspect equipment for correct performance according to OEM specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing to identify defects and determine the solution to solve the problem
- Assist in conducting minor and major repairs on mining equipment such as CAT trucks and scoops etc.
- Test repaired components to ensure correct performance according to OEM specifications
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, and or systems
- From time to time, you may be required to provide coverage on project sites

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years proven experience to rebuild the following drills: HL1560, HL710, RD314, RD315, RD525, COP1838+, MD20, HC50, HC25 as well as Stopers and Jacklegs.
- Underground mining experience would be a definite asset
- Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal) preferred but not required
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team
- For this position, you will be required to undergo a background check.
