Reporting to the Manager of Fund Accounting, the Senior Fund Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial reporting for one or more entities, coordinating auditor engagements, performing various financial analyses and reporting, mentoring and reviewing work prepared by fund accountants, and generally assisting the Manager with oversight of day-to-day operations of the team and entities under their responsibility.
The Administrator, Dealer Services supports the Dealers and Investors in the administration of their mutual fund accounts. The Dealer Services Team’s mandate is to provide Dealers and Investors with the highest level of professional service in relation to the administration of their accounts, including facilitation of trading, database maintenance and daily communications with existing investors and dealers.
**Primary Accountabilities**:
- Mutual fund account administration, trading, regulatory filings, and investor set up on systems.
- Communicates daily with external investors, dealers, and internal stakeholders.
- Performs data entry and maintenance of investor accounts.
- Processes daily trades, including buys and sells and enters data into the Unitrax system.
- Completes various reconciliations and clean up for year-end tax, as well as ongoing database maintenance.
- Reviews client accounts and facilitates various transactions.
- Documents and updates Dealer Services Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Tracks new investments and redemptions.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Degree or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- 1 - 2 years of work experience in Operations, Administration or Bookkeeping role.
- Experience within an IRROC, MFDA, Portfolio Management or Mutual Fund operations.

- Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize a diverse workload.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work accurately and with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of investment management products and services is an asset.
- Computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel and PowerPoint
