**Position: General Labor**

**Apprenticeship (Red Seal) training options**:

- Sheet Metal Worker or Roofer, Damp and Water proofer - RCABC
**Site specific training/ Health and Safety Orientation** will commence the first week of employment
- Knowledge of materials used, SBS, EPDM, TPO would be an asset
- Attending Safety Meetings to learn and discuss the risks on the job site
- Organize, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Push, pull, drag, and lift heavy materials and supplies
- Assist other workers with various tasks throughout the day
- Secure and cover all materials and supplies at the end of each day

**Job Requirements and Expectations**:
You can perform the physical aspects of the job - the bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time
- You are dependable & reliable arrive to work on time and prepared to work
- You have a keen eye for detail and who are genuinely interested in their new career
- You who are not afraid of heights but instead enjoy the spectacular views this career offers
- Good listeners who can follow clear instructions
- You enjoy being outdoors in all weather - heat, cold, wind and rain and who have the natural ability to protect themselves and others against the elements
- You are safety conscious and who are keen at identifying workplace hazards
- Those who are registered with RCABC will take first consideration.

Required CSA boots (steel toed) and a hard hat **Mandatory tools will also be needed.**
