**General Labourer - Vancouver, BC**

The terminal operates on a continuous 24-hour basis with morning, afternoon and graveyard shifts. The general schedule block rotation for the terminal is 6 days on, 3 days off.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Coordinating General Labourer duties with Operations Supervisor(s) through effective communications
- Operate all equipment in a safe efficient way according to company policies and procedures
- Accountable for the safe operation of equipment by ensuring safe work practices and standards are adhered to
- Reports and follows-up any maintenance requirements to the appropriate departments
- Load grain trucks
- Keep facility and site clean, tidy and free of fire and other safety hazards while working within the Employee Health & Safety guidelines. Follow ISO standards and procedures
- Other related duties as assigned.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license is preferred
- Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry would be considered an asset.

**Education and Qualifications**:

- Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered
- Related forklift, skid-steer or loader experience is considered an asset
- Ability to plan, organize, and communicate (both written and oral), with team members and management
- Must have demonstrated initiative, leadership, and diplomacy and the ability to contribute to the efficient operation of the terminal operation
- Valid first aid ticket (Level 2 or higher) is considered an asset.

**Compensation**:
