Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service areas, including dining tables, counters, and equipment
- Assist with food inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating supplies
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and well-being of customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow
- Assist with cleaning duties, such as dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
