Cornwall Honda has an immediate requirement for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our successful dealership in Cornwall Ont. In this key role, you will lead all aspects of an efficient and profitable Parts Department, through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, staff utilization, pricing and marketing.

**Responsibilities**:
Ensure that parts sales targets are met.

Coordinate parts marketing efforts Maintain tight inventory control to ensure consistent delivery of parts while minimizing obsolescence Balance inventory to meet requirements of the Service Department, wholesale accounts and over the counter sales

Understand and comply with all manufacturers’ warranty ordering and return policies. Forecast and track monthly sales and profit objectives.

Compile and analyze monthly management reports Responsible for profitability of Department by revenue generation and cost control

Hire, train, motivate, coach and monitor performance of all Parts Department staff

Keep up to date by completing all training within manufacturer’s prescribed guidelines and ensuring the same for all staff

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager.

College Diploma in Inventory Management, Business Management or Trade School Certificate in Automotive Studies, or equivalent related experience.

Technologically savvy with PC-based software, and strong proficiency in Dealer Management systems Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team to achieve results

Able to work as part of a results-oriented and customer-focused team

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task effectively in a fast paced environment

Strong knowledge of automotive parts, technical & mechanical repairs, product

Valid Driver’s License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
