TURKUAZ RESTAURANT LIMITED is a Canadian based company which provides authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine. Our chef and owner with over 25 years of experience is here to express his love of food and make all of you happy. Everyone that walks into the restaurant is like family to us and we take care of family. Our number one goal is to make you guys leave with a huge smile on your faces. With an amazing view of the Bedford Basin, our restaurant can hold up to 80 to 100 people inside and a patio outside for the summer. We are currently hiring a Cook. - Completion of a program for cooks or Completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety or Several years of commercial cooking experience is required;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cook, cook helper or equivalent;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently; and

Main Duties:
Cook will perform some or all of the following duties:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods;
- Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers;
- Oversee kitchen operations;
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;
- May set up and oversee buffets;
- May clean kitchen and work area;
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Recommend to hire and train kitchen staff.
- Shall specialize in preparing and cooking Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine.
