**About the role**:Under direction of the program Coordinator, this is a supportive housing program, for a diverse group of individuals with barriers who have experienced chronic homelessness. As the Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the staff team, design and implementation, partnership development, and provide case management for the clients. As the Team Lead, you will connect our clients to various resources, and provide guidance, supervision and training to all Caseworkers and Support Workers.
- Knowledge of the Housing First approach to homelessness, Ontario Land-Lord Tenant Act, SPDAT Assessment, and HIFIS
- Ability to coordinate all on-site program related functions through a gender
- and trauma-responsive framework
- Skills to lead a 24/7 staff team and, in conjunction with the coordinator, support staff implementation of the on-site clinical model and its associated interventions
- A strong commitment to supporting all residents, as well as youth who may be navigating the transition from youth to adulthood
- Excellent people skills to facilitate relationships with clients, colleagues, supervisors, program partners and community members
- A willingness to work in collaboration with a wide variety of community partners, agencies and emergency services
**You’ll also be prepared to**
- Be on-call for program serious incident occurrences
- Work flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends
- Have ownership of a vehicle and/or ability to be extremely mobile to accommodate meetings in the community and internally at JHS sites
- Exercise extreme flexibility to accommodate fluctuating and varied program needs
