Blowers & Grafton (B&G) dishes up authentic street food, delivering real, honest ingredients and laid-back, East Coast hospitality. Shack up in our cozy-cool spaces to savour passionately crafted East Coast eats and cheers to the weekend, or soak in some live music and stay a while. B&G sources as much of its menu from out East as possible to bring you tasteful tributes, genuine flavours and all the classics From the OG Halifax Donair and Garlic Fingers, to the Mini Lobster Rolls and Chips, it’s all washed down with your choice of craft beer or cocktails. B&G was founded by a group of passionate Canadians with a bold vision: to salute the spirited roots of Halifax with fellow Maritimers and share this beloved experience of food, drink, music and culture with the rest of Canada.
Night Line Cook:
- Maintaining a clean space, especially in view of guests.
- Demonstrate Food safe understanding and adherence.
- Work quickly and efficiently.
- Responsible for nightly closes which include daily/weekly cleaning duties, prepping equipment for close, and ensuring kitchen is ready for morning open.
- Be a team player Be Helpful and compassionate to your fellow members.
- Communicate between shifts and with managers and teammates
- Maintain great communication with FOH to ensure service is smooth
- Have a passion for great food and real ingredients.
- Prep/Cook food that is genuine and of a high-quality
- Take responsibility for food quality and presentation of everything leaving the kitchen.
- Ability to cook large amounts of dine-in, takeout and delivery at the same time
- Pizza experience is seen as an asset.
- Experience closing is seen as an asset.
- Have a passion for providing East Coast Food & Hospitality
