Join a team that **loves what they do** and the people they do it with. This is a general carpentry and labouring position working with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to complete commercial construction projects. This position requires an individual **experienced in commercial construction carpentry** to join our team. Matra is a **commercial interior general contractor **and construction management firm, specializing in interior tenant improvements and working in occupied spaces. Our head office is located in North Burnaby with worksites throughout BC and AB; the majority of the work is in the Lower Mainland.

The position involves the following:

- Working independently as a carpenter performing framing, backing, door installations, hoarding/protection, finishing and other tasks
- Working with labourers or site superintendents on completion of general scopes of work such as backing, door and hardware install or other
- Diligently keeping worksites tidy and safe
- Regular lifting of 50+ lbs
- Being on feet all day and physically mobile through the majority of the shift
- Other duties as assigned

Salary is negotiable upon experience. Vehicle and cell phone allowance will also be provided.
