Protrans is currently seeking a

**Qualifications**:

- Education Required:

- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA)
- Years of Experience Required:

- 10+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Experience managing a finance and/ or accounting teams
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyze and communicate data effectively and accurately

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing and supporting the preparation of the monthly financial statements
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses
- Assist in preparing month-end financial reports and analysis for Senior Leadership
- Act as a liaison for external auditors
- Coordinate throughout the company in maintaining strong internal controls and recommendations for improvements
- mentoring, building, and developing the accounting team
- Be responsible in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of ledger data each month
- Aid in annual budgeting, audit and tax file processes
- Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset to support a world-class finance and accounting practices, acting as a project sponsor when required
