**Reports to**: Manager, Food & Beverage
**Collaborates With**: President | Director, Athletics | Coaches
**Employment Type**: 35-40hrs to week, On-Site
**Salary**: $22.00 an hour
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve nutritious meals for athletes and customers on weekends.
- Follow established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements for athletes.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet Athlete Institute standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and communicate supply needs.
- Provide excellent customer service to athletes, staff, and visitors.
- Support catering needs for events, tournaments, and team meals as required.
- Clean dishes, tables and floors after each meal to ensure health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the Manager, Food & Beverage and other staff to ensure smooth food service operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen, cafeteria, or food service environment (preferred).
- Food Handler Certification (required).
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adjust to varying needs of athletes and events.
- Passion for sports, health, and nutrition is an asset.

Work Schedule
- Predominantly weekends (Saturday & Sunday) and shifts during the week.
- Additional shifts may be available during special events or peak times.
