**Location**: This opportunity has the ability to be remotely based within Canada (except for QC), or onsite/hybrid/remote in the Vancouver, BC Lower Mainland.
- **Annual Base Salary**: $59,400 - $78,100 CAD
- Please note that employment is contingent upon the successful completion of reference checks and background checks, including a Canadian criminal background check.

**Contracts Administrator**:
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for administering and managing contract documentation within the legal team. This role involves close collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Operations, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure that all contracts are accurately drafted, properly executed, and renewed in a timely manner. As well as ensuring contracts meet legal and company standards. This role reports to the Chief Legal Officer.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:
As a Contracts Administrator, you will:

- Draft, review, and modify contractual agreements to ensure accuracy and legal conformity.
- Verify that all clarifications and amendments are incorporated into the final contract and signed off by legal counsel and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that contracts are approved and executed in accordance with Safe’s policies and legal requirements.
- Maintain and update a contract database and ensure all contract-related documentation is organized and accessible.
- Monitor contract lifecycle to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deadlines.
- Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate contractual requirements including closing out of contracts and initiating renewals.
- Create reports to provide summary information for the CLO and monitor contracting productivity and key metrics.
- Assist the Legal team in identifying areas for improvement in standard contracts.

**Required skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a Business or a Legal discipline
- 3+ years experience in contract administration, legal administration, order management, or similar roles, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with contracting principles, including those specific to software licensing and technology.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Solid work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging responsibilities.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to partner with multiple teams and communicate effectively with all levels of management.
- Excellent reading and English-language comprehension skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Self-starter who is always looking for ways to improve processes and leverage technology.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Strong MS Office, Google Workspaces, and Adobe Acrobat skills.
- Experience with contract lifecycle management software and e-signature software (ie: Ironclad and Docusign) is an asset.
