**Nanos Research**is looking for an **Assistant to the President**(Ottawa)

The position of Assistant to the President is of critical operational importance to ensure the smooth functioning of the Nanos Research Corporation. The assistant functions as the “face” of the President through interactions with staff, clients and external contacts on behalf of the President.

Responsibilities include:

- **Executive Support** - scheduling, preparing and co-ordinating the President’s meetings.
- **Team Support**- to be a resource for the Nanos team and assist where needed
- **Consultant Support** - participating in company meetings and assisting with editing and proofing of documentation.
- **External Communications** - helping prepare and distribute external communications.
- **Office Co-ordination** - working to ensure that the office runs smoothly and is properly supplied.
- **Work Productivity** - coordinating the project management system and Nanos Team Schedule
- **Point of Contact** - answering the phone for the President and welcoming guests at the front reception

**Terms**: This is a permanent, full time position, with working hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

**Salary**: ranges from $50,000.00 to $55,000.00 plus bonus, depending on experience and skills. Nanos also provides a generous benefits plan including health and dental support after being employed with the firm for 90 days.

**Experience**: The position requires superior organizational skills and a very professional personal attitude since this individual is effectively a key representative of the President. The successful Assistant to the President will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail and computer skills (proficiency in Windows, Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are necessary. The Assistant to the President must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Prior administrative experience (preferably executive assistant experience), including experience with recruitment, expenses and scheduling would be considered an asset but not necessary.

**Work Setting**:Private sector, market research firm, centrally located with access by public transportation. The work will be in person working at the front reception desk in the Nanos downtown Ottawa office.

**Other Information**:Fluency in English and French is necessary. The position is full-time in-person at our downtown Ottawa office.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
