MetroWorks is hiring a summer student who is skilled in MS Excel and enjoys teaching co-workers. The student will have a strong proficiency in Excel math formulas and a keen eye for detail to support our data management and analysis needs.
**Duties**
- Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets and databases
- Create and update reports using Excel functions and formulas
- Analyze data sets to identify trends and insights
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Excel files
- Provide training and support to colleagues on Excel usage
**Requirements**:
- Must be proficient in advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and macros
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong English communication skills and ability to teach others
- Experience with data visualization tools is a plus
**Applicants must**:
- Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job;
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN); and
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
**Job Type**: Contract
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
