**Job Description**:
The Finance Analyst I serves internal customers by providing financial information through daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting. Assist Manager, Finance with various A/P and A/R responsibilities, monthly financial close, inventory and ad hoc reporting. Assist in meeting all general departmental goals and responsibilities.

This position reports to the Manager, Finance - General Accounting

**Accountabilities**
- Provide support for month-end close activities including A/P accrual entries, customer commission detail, display details, and additional journal entries.
- Prepare, review and distribute daily and month-end reports.
- Conduct balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist with compiling month-end Board decks.
- Prepare reports for capital projects, labor efficiencies, and No Charge Replacements.
- Process miscellaneous vendor invoices including freight bills, utilities, and supplies.
- Process vendor credits.
- Responsible for setting up vendor accounts.
- Assist and support quarterly physical inventory processes.
- Provide analysis and support related to margins.
- Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets.
- Assist with annual Customer Pricing updates.
- SOX compliance efforts and maintain internal control and internal audit protocol.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of company financial information.
- Must adhere to all company and Health & Safety policies as indicated in the Associate Handbook and Standards of Business Conduct Handbook.

- Perform other duties as may be assigned at management’s discretion.

**Qualifications**:
**Characteristics & Attributes**
- Must have strong problem solving and project management skills.
- Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet goals and deadlines.
- Must have attention to detail, be self-directed and display strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and react positively to multiple priorities and demands on time.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting concepts, procedures and practices.
- Intermediate understanding of Excel and proficient in all other Microsoft Office products and AS400.

**Education & Experience**
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
