We are currently recruiting for** Pipelayers** to join the team at one of our** Infrastructure** projects in **Coquitlam, BC**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists with the installation of water, storm, and sanitary pipe
- Covers pipes with gravel or fill material
- Cut pipes to needed lengths and connect pipe pieces with seal joints
- Assists with backfilling, leveling, and compaction of trenches
- Laying pipes in trenches
- Follow pipe routes as per layout
- Review work area for damages
- Assist with other duties as required

**Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 2 - 3 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Experience with Pipelaying is **required **(experience with water, storm, and sanitation)
- Safety Certifications: CSTS/ WHMIS
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry, walk on uneven ground
- Capable of learning through on the job training
- Reliable transportation
