**Job description**

Motel 6 Airdrie is looking to hire a part-time / full-time housekeeping attendant to our team Previous experience as a housekeeper in a hotel is an asset however not required. Please keep in mind that this job is physically demanding and will need you to be on your feet for 8 hours per shift as well as bend down, lift, push, pull, scrub in order to clean your assigned rooms.

**Job Summary**

Our housekeeping attendants are responsible for the cleanliness through out the hotel. This includes public common areas as well as rooms.

**Your daily duties**
- Make beds and change linen in stay rooms.
- Clean bathrooms and restock fresh towels and toiletries.
- Vacuum and mop flooring.
- Scrub any stuck-on messes until clean.
- Dusting.
- Clean kitchen appliances in kitchenettes.
- Report any damage or smoking to front desk as soon as it is discovered.
- Check that the room's equipment is working. TV, remote, radio, alarm clock etc. if it is not then report to front desk.
- Refill housekeeping carts when needed.
- Clean lobby area, bathrooms, pool, elevator daily.
- Bring any belongings left in departed rooms to front desk.
- Take out own garbage at the end of each shift.

**Extra duties**
- Cleaning common areas of motel when needed.
- Folding towels and sheets, restocking housekeeping rooms.
- Replace garbage outside motel and empty cigarette trays.

**Job Types**: Part-time & Full-time

**Salary**: $16.00 -$17.00 per hour
