**Primary Care Paramedic**

This position is very active, mobile, and fast-paced, requiring good organization, planning, and time management skills in order to keep clinic flow and Nuclear Medicine Lab on time.

Looking for a dedicated full-time PCP with exceptional clinical acumen and attention to detail.
- Have current unrestricted Primary Care Paramedic license with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Have strong time management skills.
- Have strong medical terminology.
- Have experience with rhythms and 12-lead ECG interpretations.
- Have strong attention to detail in completion of patient information and history.
- Have strong IV skills.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the patients for non-invasive cardiac testing to investigate cardiac abnormalities and level of function, including Exercise Tolerance Testing and MPIs.
- Explain procedure and educate patients on equipment function as required, as well as collect patient history for procedures and document information for physicians.
- Analyze and summarize test results and generate reports for physician interpretation.
- Serve as a clinical resource by providing information regarding Primary Care Paramedic to staff and patients.

- Can work well under pressure.
- Has the ability to produce high quality work in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
- Works well both as part of a team and in an unsupervised environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Current unrestricted Primary Care Paramedic license with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
- Current BLS certification
- WHMIS
- Flexibility and an ability to react quickly in a fluid and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator.

**Two (2) professional references, criminal background check, and record of immunizations will be required.**

Expected hours: 40 per week
