Project Material Manager

**Job Overview**

The primary responsibility of the Project Material Manager is to ensure the day-to-day operations of the project yard run efficiently while complying with all company safety policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities**
- Receiving shipments;
- Unloading trucks;
- Organizing inventory;
- Signing out material;
- Moving vehicles;
- Maintaining cleanliness of the yard;
- Processing paperwork as required;
- Adhering to company rules, policies, procedures and safe work practices; and,
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Class 5 drivers licence is required, Class 3 would be considered an asset;
- Working knowledge of computers, particularly Microsoft Excel;
- Forklift ticket would be considered an asset;
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred; and,
- Knowledge and experience in the electrical/construction industry would be considered a strong asset.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Regular travel to project sites, sometimes in remote areas for extended shift schedules as required;
- Driving sometimes for long periods of time; and,
- Loading and unloading materials up to 65lbs.

Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truro, NS B2N 1B2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Location: In person
