The Material Logistics Coordinator is responsible for accurate and timely coordination of inbound materials through supply chain management, ensuring the flow of raw materials are on site in a timely manner. Key responsibilities will include supply planning, purchase order creation, maintaining and analyzing safety stock and inventory reconciliations, vendor returns as well as sustaining professional relationships with all assigned suppliers for the Truro plant.

**What’s involved in this role**
- Responsible for all transactions in support of inventory management.
- Manage expediting, issue resolution, timelines, and costs.
- Managing flow of materials in/out of the 3PL
- Maintaining inventory accuracy with 3PL through reconciliations
- Coordination with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
- Maintains KPIs and utilize data to enhance.
- Continuously support strategies and contingency plans that minimize risk.
- Manage and develop supplier relationships and be the link with Strategic Sourcing and & Development, Requestors, Receivers, Accounts Payables, Master Data Management
- Sustaining professional relationships with suppliers.
- Analyzing and optimizing logístical procedures.
- Other project/duties as assigned or needed.

**What you need to join our team**
- APICS CPIM certification or similar an asset.
- Bachelor’s Degree and or College diploma in Operations, Logistics, Business, or comparable work experience required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Inventory management or Operations, experience in the food industry, an asset.
- Experience in cross border USA/Canadian logistics.
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP system, SAP experience considered an asset.
