Pizza Banfi is looking for a server to become a part of its highly skilled and professional team. We have been providing fine dining and top quality service to our Toronto and Forest Hill community for 34 years. Servers will be responsible for creating memorable and pleasant guest experiences by providing timely service, taking accurate orders, answering guest questions, and knowing menu items and daily specials. **Server Job Responsibilities**:

- Serves guests with food and beverages in a professional, positive and friendly manner.
- Prepares room for dining by cleaning surface areas and setting candles, napkins, service plates, and utensils.
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
- Prepare and execute guest’s beverage orders.
- Helps patrons select food and beverages by suggesting courses, explaining the chef’s specials, identifying appropriate beverage pairings, and answering menu/food preparation questions.
- Transmits orders to the kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests.
- Keeps kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
- Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron needs.
- Obtains payments by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons in accordance with the procedures of the establishment.
- Greeting customers and showing them to their table.
- You would need to be familiar with the menu to describe items and explain some terms and ingredients to them if they have any questions.
- Comply with all restaurant policies and procedures.
- Complete side duties based on the restaurant’s needs.
- Perform other duties as needed.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Well-organized with ability to take orders accurately.
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Bartending experience
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift and carry up to 20-30lbs

**_Requirements: _**
- 2+ years experience working in an Italian or fine dining restaurant.
- Must have SMART serve.
- Must successfully complete the restaurant's training.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- Must be a team player

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
