As a Lighting, Data & Communications Specialist, you will interact with existing customers, to increase sales of the Company's products and/or services. You will obtain, create, and up-sell orders, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer's buying experience. You will focus on proactive selling techniques to add business or expand current book of accounts. You will collaborate with outside sales to ensure goals are being met.
**Responsibilities**:
- Primary duty is to provide inside support to all Lighting customers & showroom business
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Serve as an additional support person for technical questions and specifications for Lighting products for the branch and region
- Produce quotations and perform timely follow-up on all sales opportunities
- Ensure all order, inventory, delivery, and invoicing processes are followed as per EECOL policy and to the customers’ requirements
- Will be responsible for ongoing personal development and training
- Effectively report and update the corporate “Customer Relationship Management” system (CRM)
- Provide feedback to the Lighting team regarding inventory levels
- Demonstrate a solution approach to product inquiries
- Able to travel with Outside Sales Reps throughout the region
- Able to meet with end-user for site visits
- Maintain an organized and professional workspace, appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledgePerform other duties as required
- **Who We're Looking For**:
- High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelors’ degree preferred
- Requires knowledge and experience in sales and sales administration; still acquiring higher level knowledge and skills, however fully competent and productive professional contributor (2-4 years)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, and ability to perform basic computer skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working in team environment
- Communicate clearly, both verbally and in written form
- Attention to detail
- Ability to prospect and market concepts to existing and potentially new accounts
- Take action and solve a range of problems that may be difficult but are not typically complex
- Identify and define problems and possible solutions independently; chooses among existing solutions
- Ability to work independently with general supervisionAbility to travel 0% - 25%

Compensation Details $26.73 - $33.41
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package. In addition, EECOL offers a full range of benefits such as paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement savings plans for eligible employees.
