Northbridge Insurance Underwriting Directors work hard to provide strategic growth within their departments as well as coach and mentor their teams. The Director you would be responsible for directing all activities ensuring that the unit is operating at maximum efficiency, productivity, and profitability to achieve all corporate and regional goals, objectives, and service levels are being met and maintained.

Our Underwriting Directors are experts in their field and able to monitor trends and development in the industry, guiding their portfolio in a positive way. As the Director for the commercial lines, mid-market department, you would be responsible for all activities ensuring that the unit is operating at maximum efficiency, productivity and profitability to achieve all corporate and regional goals.

**If you are great at**:

- Strategic and management planning
- Overseeing all corporate and regional underwriting objectives
- Sales and negotiations
- Data analytics
- Developing and mentoring staff
- Improving processes

**If you have**:

- 10 years of Underwriting experience
- 5+ years experience in a leadership role
- Strategic leadership style
- Team-first mentality
