Corrcoat Services is currently seeking a Junior Shop Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for assisting and handling the review of all bid packages received, developing cost estimates based on information received in bid packages, creating proposal letters, and submitting to clients and providing clarification on submitted proposals.

**General Requirements**
- Assist reviewing bid packages to analyze project costs.
- Assists in gathering cost information needs for bid packages
- Must be familiar with bid packages and be able to quickly find the project details such as:

- Shop work
- Coating
- Scope of work
- Specification requirements
- Identifying potential problems
- Assists in reading and understanding blueprints for quantity take offs.
- Attend pre-bid meetings to identify areas of high risk that can affect the price of a project.
- Must be able to read and understand specification requirements as it pertains to performing the work.
- Assists in properly selecting equipment to accomplish the work being bid on.

**Working Conditions**
- Able to work in both outdoor and indoor conditions.
- Able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a shop environment.
- Able to climb stairs and ladders to enter tanks and vessels in a safe manner.
- Ability to work in a safe manner (follow PPE and safe work practices)
- Work safely with chemicals (solvents)

**Experience Requirements**
- Completion of a high school diploma is required.
- One (1) year of estimating/project management experience is preferred.
- Having a NACE level one certification, Red Seal Craft certification is an asset.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate strong organization skills in handling projects.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs such as Word or Excel.
- Able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to create project schedules and timelines.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to read blueprints.
- Able to demonstrate strong mathematical skills
