Job Description - Workday_ - ._ We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and professional individual to join our Facilities Team as a Janitor. Reporting to the Janitorial Lead, you will perform all janitorial functions with mínimal supervision to maintain a physical space of approximately 75-80,000 square feet. Accountabilities: - Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. in restrooms, break rooms and/or kitchenettes.- Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and other areas as necessary.- Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or hand scrub floors using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners.- Empty waste containers, recyclables, and organics into disposal areas.- Wipe down walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc.- Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies. Reorder from vendors as necessary.- Schedule and monitor sub-contractors for specialist tasks such as carpet or steam cleaning, exterior window cleaning.- Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate them to Facilities staff for resolution.- Maintain schedule of janitorial tasks. Keep records of completed tasks. You have: - A high school diploma.- 2+ years of experience in a janitorial role within a commercial or institutional environment.- Physical ability to carry out typical janitorial functions.
