**Responsibilities**:

- This position requires a certified MDR technician to set up, clean & reprocess instruments on surgical days.
- Maintaining equipment, setting up a routine and monitoring quality control of washers and autoclaves as well as the integrity of sterilization.
- Keeping records and logs up to date are also essential along with stocking necessary supplies and organizing and cleaning the sterilization area.

**Experience**:

- Minimum grade 12 education required
- Current certificate from a recognized college level Medical Device Reprocessing course or CSA Medical Device Reprocessing Certification
- One-year OR experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Strong organizational skills are necessary
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain integrity of work
- Detail orientated
- Team player but also works well independently
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Commitment to employment and optimal attendance record required

**Salary**:
To be negotiated at time of interview

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
