The Facilities & Infrastructure Manager leads the maintenance and reliability functions and teams and is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and performance of maintenance activities related to equipment, machinery, facilities, systems and team members.

Reporting to the **Chief Operating Officer** and working in a diverse team, in this role **you will**:

- Set and monitor daily, weekly and/or monthly objectives and communicate them to the maintenance staff to meet business goals and drive a high-performance work culture.
- Define, develop, and lead the maintenance/reliability strategy, program, and budget.
- Provide strong technical leadership in the areas of: plant mechanical and electrical integrity, maintenance strategies, computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) development, maintenance planning/scheduling, work system efficiency, troubleshooting and root cause analysis, equipment repair techniques, work quality assessment.
- Measure, manage, report, and improve overall plant on-stream-time, with a particular focus on overall plant productivity, efficiency, and safety.
- Research, plan, and prepare proposals for equipment and machinery modifications that will reduce downtime, allow for more efficient utilization, and improve overall safety, environmental and quality performance.
- Aid in developing the vision for future state and capabilities of our infrastructure resources.
- Collaborate on facilities CAPEX planning and execution; act as an agent for evolution and transformation of processing capabilities within our facilities.
- Manage the annual maintenance and repair operating budget.

Reporting to the **Chief Operating Officer** and working in a diverse team, in this role **you will**:

- Set and monitor daily, weekly and/or monthly objectives and communicate them to the maintenance staff to meet business goals and drive a high-performance work culture.
- Define, develop, and lead the maintenance/reliability strategy, program, and budget.
- 8+ years’ experience in maintenance/facilities management, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment and/or within aerospace or defence.
- Strong technical skills in mechanical/industrial engineering and maintenance, equipment design and maintainability, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Knowledge of maintenance practices and programs (e.g., TPM, PM/PdM, RCM)
- Knowledge of industry standards (such as ASHRAE or CSA).
- General understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) principles.
- Experience in troubleshooting and addressing safety, quality and efficiency issues, and track record of following through to ensure closure.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma tools (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, 5S, FMEA, etc.)
- Action-oriented and willing to challenge the status quo.
- Strong decision-making skills and result-driven (safety, quality, cost) approach.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and departments.
- Proficient in M365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and CMMS software.
- Emotional intelligence skillset to connect authentically, communicate effectively, and thrive collectively on a daily basis and lead change in the workplace.
