**Vendor Relations Specialist **responsible for effectively onboarding a diverse portfolio of Purity’s distributed brands/vendors. Your high energy and drive will create a work environment focused on success and continuous process improvement.

**Job Duties**:

- First point of contact for distributed brands, responsible for a diverse portfolio that require different levels of attention and creativity, maintain and foster relationships with key vendor and broker personnel
- At times when required, work alongside the Purchasing Specialist for stock balancing and returns
- They will also coordinate and communicate regularly with Purchasing Specialists to assist in forecasting for promotional plans or trade show buys
- Works closely with sales team and Purchasing Specialists on new line 1st order forecasts, promotional activity especially that which would skew inventory balance
- Facilitate and communicate fill rate problem solving, working with all departments to reduce risks associated with poor fill rate performance, finding solutions to bring fill rate levels to 95%
- Responsible for managing/supporting the day-to-day activities of the vendors and brokers listed in portfolio which includes but not limited to:

- PLIC administration and support
- New line/product listings
- Product price changes
- Monthly vendor promotional activity
- Vendor/Broker reports
- Catalogue listings
- Trade marketing activities
- Support Virtual Trade Shows by way of vendor participation
- Coordinate trade show deal activity
- You will utilize your knowledge of market trends, together with feedback from retailers and sales reps, to create programs which maximize selling opportunities for Purity Life sales team
- Responsible for communicating new lines/products activity, promotions, shortages, vendor broker issues etc. to the sales team and other departments as appropriate and in a timely manner
- You will ensure that all your brands are utilizing the many social media and custom marketing programs available through Purity Life
- Responsible for meeting quarterly with new vendors as well as key vendors/brokers, brand planning, track and monitor key performance indicators critical to plan, review and evaluate key results and forecasts (sales, inventories, expenditures, costs etc.) to budget/plan and make appropriate recommendations to stakeholders
- Lead discussion on lines to disco, making recommendations based on a complete analysis of the brand(s) including rational for disco, taking all stakeholders into consideration
- Some travel for trade show activity may be required

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree, diploma or certification with three years of experience in a related industry
- Experience of using all MS Office tools
- Ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to respond quickly in a fast paced and changing environment
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
