**Overview**

**Duties**
- Evaluate and analyze financial data to determine risk levels
- Assess and calculate potential risks in underwriting decisions
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients
- Collect and compile data for analysis
- Utilize mathematical skills to perform accurate risk assessments
- Prepare reports detailing risk analysis findings

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Math, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience in underwriting or a similar role
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of financial principles and practices
- Ability to interpret complex financial information
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M3J 2G9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- underwriting: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- French (preferred)
