**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, serging, binding, bartacker, programmable) to assemble garments and products
- Operate other machineries used to build technical garments, such as hot air taping machine, heat presses, radio frequency welding machine, and others
- Review request package for information required for prototype builds, identify any missing information/materials and collaborate with relevant parties to fill in the gaps
- Create products using pattern pieces and/or reference samples
- Perform repair and modification work on products as required
- Ensure quality requirements are met based on instructions/specification/training
- Maintain accurate record of construction & pattern issues encountered during assembly, and feedback to design team during or immediately after sample completion as necessary
- Provide sample completion time estimation to development team and prototype manager
- Learn any processes, quality tests and machine operations as necessary for successful completion of prototype
- Liaise with in-house factory production team and associates for support on prototyping
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe immediate workspace
- Ensure proper operation of the sewing machine at workstation by cleaning, refilling oil, changing needles, detecting bobbin-winding problems, and testing the machine

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Comfortable working in an industrial sewing manufacturing environment
- English written and verbal communication ability for following build instructions, quality requirements, provide feedback on construction/pattern issues and improvement suggestions on prototypes
- Extensive garment manufacturing skills and knowledge, with the ability to handle various fabrics and construction operations at an efficient and accurate level
- Good work ethic, honest, patient, reliable and attention to details
- Ability to work in a self-sufficient environment and without supervision
- Able to adapt in continuously changing environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and growth mindset
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is considered an asset
