Maintenance of an 8000 square foot office / medical clinic and administrative building areas and properties, completing duties in order to maintain orderly condition at all times including but not limited to light maintenance work inside and outside such as inspecting for and replacing burned-out light bulbs, cleaning out water reservoirs, minor electrical or plumbing issues
- Picking up occasional supplies / materials to complete maintenance work.
- Keeping all walkways clear of debris and sand, washing exterior windows, watering plants that are not on the irrigation system and other tasks around the building's exterior
- Assist in the cleaning and disinfecting water feature monthly
- Lawn cutting and trimming on properties as required
- Fertilization of gardens and lawns
- Weed control
- Aeration annually
- Sweeping / blowing driveways and walkways
- Snow removal of walkways and driveways (experience with plowing an asset)
- Detecting and reporting issues with equipment / properties and arranging/meeting with outside service personnel to attend onsite if required.
- Occasional window cleaning
- Staining retaining walls / wood fences / decks annually
- Minor repairs to these items as required.

**Skills Required**:

- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to receive and act on direction. Receive instruction well and make changes as required.
- Must be able to work independently and efficiently and create a schedule to cover the tasks required. Create a plan for the tasks depending on their frequency (weekly, monthly and seasonal tasks). Possess the ability to perform these tasks with little supervision once training is completed.
- Must have a positive attitude and treat all with respect and compassion
- Must have the ability to work with required equipment and perform physically active work throughout the work shift
- Experience with safely operating minor tools, power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, snowplow on an F 350 are all an asset
- Valid drivers licence and a good driving record. Must be able to be covered on our vehicle based on your driving record
- Have your own vehicle to get to / from properties all in the local area when not using the business truck
- Must have the ability to lift 35 lbs. and to climb stairs and ladders
- Demonstrated ability to learn skills in general building and property maintenance for the properties and to become proficient in tasks after a period of instruction.
- Experience with painting / staining / cleaning products all an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
