**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking an experienced handyman/woman to work in the Kemptville area with experience in all aspects of construction and interior/exterior renovations, both commercial and residential.
Reporting to the Site Foreman, you would be responsible for the following:
- Carpentry and framing
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Fine finishing (trim, lighting installation, etc.)
- Installation of doors/frames/hardware
- Framing (steel and wood)
- Drywall/mudding
- General construction
- Erect/deconstruct scaffolding
- Demolition
- Assist trades, suppliers or co-workers where and when required
**Qualifications**:
- Meticulous attention to detail and precise-to-plan quality
- Hard working
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own
- Ability to read and interpret measurements in metric and imperial
- Experience working with hand tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to work in a safe manner while following company safety policies and regulations
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a residential construction environment in Canada
- Training in WHIMIS, Fall Protect, Workers Health & Safety Awareness will be considered an asset but LA Group will provide training if needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
