**Job Summary**:
We are currently seeking Skilled Labourers to work in Kemptville and surrounding area with experience in all aspects of interior/exterior renovation and new construction in residential wood frame construction.
Reporting to the Site Foreman, you would be responsible for the following:
- Assist tradesperson and perform a wide range of tasks at construction site including carpentry, framing, fine finishing, drywall, mudding
- Operate machines or equipment used in construction such as generators, compressors, and pumps
- Erect/install and dismantle fencing, scaffolding, ramps, & barricades required at construction sites
- General maintenance of construction site
- Perform other assigned duties and follow directions from Supervisors and Carpenters as required
**Qualifications**:
- Familiar with working in a high pace construction environment while completing both small and large projects
- Attention to detail, hard-working and reliable
- Experience working with hand tools such as: skill saws, hammers, pliers, levels, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret measurements in metric and imperial
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Able to work in safe manner while following company safety policies and regulations
**Requirements**:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a residential construction environment
- Training in WHIMIS, Fall Protect, Workers Health & Safety Awareness will be considered an asset but LA Group will provide training if needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
