**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
**Front of House (FOH) Oversight**
- Ensure exceptional guest service, creating a welcoming and professional environment.
- Oversee FOH staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts, providing training and support as needed.
- Monitor dining room operations to maintain efficient workflow and resolve guest concerns promptly.
- Address customer feedback related to service and food quality constructively and effectively.

**Back of House (BOH) Oversight**
- Lead daily kitchen operations as the **Head Chef**, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain consistent quality in food preparation, presentation, and taste, stepping in to cook or assist during peak times.
- Personally prepare and oversee the preparation of signature dishes to ensure consistent quality and presentation standards.
- Develop and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
- Enforce standard operating procedures for food preparation, storage, and hygiene.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment that meets or exceeds food safety standards.
- Train BOH staff in advanced cooking techniques, portion control, and plating for menu consistency.

**Inventory and Vendor Coordination**
- Manage inventory to ensure high-quality ingredients are consistently available.
- Coordinate with various vendors for ordering supplies, maintaining vendor relationships, and negotiating pricing.
- Monitor food costs and implement strategies to minimize waste while maintaining quality.

**Team Leadership and Scheduling**
- Hire, train, and mentor FOH and BOH staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during regular service and catered events.
- Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback, coaching, and recognition to drive improvement.
- Build a strong, dependable team by addressing workplace issues constructively and maintaining a positive culture.
- Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute seamless catering services for corporate and private events.
- Ensure smooth, high-quality food service during events, adhering to client specifications.
- Adapt operations to balance catering requirements with regular service.

**Compensation**
- **Salary Range**: $60,000-$70,000/year
