Scarborough, Canada Patron Security & Investigations Full time

The Guard will act as the first-line representative to all staff, customers, and clients. A major part of the role involves standing at a post and deterring and protecting the Public Site and staff. Must have previous Security Guard experience, Customer Service experience and be Professional in Appearance ( bouncer type guard ).
**Duties**:

- You will be responsible for the protection of people, property, facilities and information.
- Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
- Ability to utilize tact and diplomacy when on duty
- Deal with trespassers and unauthorized persons found on the property, in a fair and safe manner, by enforcing the Trespass to Property Act
- Maintain surveillance of surrounding area and report suspicious activity.
- Assist with daily operations as needed/required or directed
- Perform detailed and diligent patrols.
- Assess disturbances and take action accordingly
- Provide support in line management and crowd control
- Observe and report daily activities and irregularities to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that all safety and emergency procedures are followed.
- Extensive patrolling
- Work with local police service
- Draft reports

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 8-30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Licence/Certification:

- use of force certificate and training (preferred)
