You have the appropriate skills and previous work experience and enjoy working within a small and dynamic finance team; adhering to appropriate controls and accounting principles. You will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, processing transactions, and supporting the finance and administration teams.

- Flexible hours between Monday and Thursday, hours will fluctuate as needed, but on average will be approximately 20 hours per week
- Work at the office (free assigned parking)

**Duties**
- Managing accounting mailbox; responding to customer and supplier inquiries
- Preparing and mailing of customer invoices
- Sending account statements to customers and following up on outstanding payments
- Enter customer receipts in ERP
- Supplier invoice verification and entry into the ERP system
- Supplier payment preparations and entry into both the banking and ERP systems
- Audit employee expense claims
- Assist in month end closing and monthly bank statement administration
- Assist in government and other regulatory reporting

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of two years of proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite would be considered an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Good communication, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimum supervision
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality

**Assets**
- Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
