**Overview**: As the Parts Technician, you will be responsible for ordering, storing, controlling inventory, and invoicing parts. Your duties will include identifying parts and equipment, sourcing and procuring parts, as well as handling shipping and receiving. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records. Effective communication with department personnel is essential to determine priorities and requirements. Additionally, you will need to read and interpret schematic diagrams, manuals, and catalogues to accurately identify and determine the necessary parts.
**Duties**:Including but not limited to;
- Parts Identification
- Ordering & Receiving Inventory
- Counting and Maintaining Inventory
- Picking Parts Orders
- Addressing the parts needs of Service Technicians in a timely manner
- Looking up Parts using all Resources Provided
- Billing & Invoicing Parts to Appropriate Service Orders
- Maintaining Parts Room (Organizing & Labelling Shelves)
**Qualifications**:
- In-depth knowledge of the heavy-duty mechanical industry.
- Journeyman Parts Certificate an asset.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong organization, time management, communication, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic computer functions.
- Prior experience in a parts department, preferably in the heavy truck parts industry.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to lift to approx. 50 Lbs.
- Demonstrate the ability to measure & identify heavy-duty brake components

**Shift**:3x12 rotational.
**Compensation**: $34-$40/hour.
