**About the Opportunity**:
The Resource Facilitator is responsible for assisting departments and nursing areas in accessing resources needed to deliver patient care. The Resource Facilitator reports to the Bed Utilization Manager and functions after hours under the direction of the Clinical Care Coordinator or Administration On-Call in keeping them apprised of any needs, concerns or questions related to clinical situations. This position provides evening, overnight, and weekend coverage.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Medical Office Administration program plus one year experience; OR two years related experience
- Medical Terminology considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Non-violent crisis intervention training or willingness to obtain
- Experience and knowledge with Meditech is required
- Knowledge of scheduling systems is an asset
- Familiarity with Union contracts is an asset
- BCLS or willingness to obtain
- Ability to function independently in an organized manner with mínimal supervision is required
- Ability to work shift work, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays required
- Ability to work as an integral member of a team is required
- Ability to use good decision making skills under pressure is essential
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

**Hours**:

- Permanent, Part-time (40%), 28 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts include days, evenings, weekends and holidays

**Compensation and Incentives**:
$25.00 - $28.85 Hourly
