**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. You will work closely with children aged 0-5 years, guiding their learning through play-based activities and structured lessons. Your commitment to early childhood education will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents or guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to promote a supportive community.
- Facilitate group activities that encourage teamwork, communication, and social skills.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness to ensure a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.

**Skills**
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual tasks.
- Familiarity with early childhood assessment tools is a plus.

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Early Childhood Educator certification Level 2 OR 3 (required)
