**Summary**:
Our Thunder Bay location is hiring for a** Sample Preparation Technicians **to assist us in preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The schedule for this role will be 12 hour shifts **4 days on, 4 days off rotational days and nights**.

The expected **end date **of the position **March 15th, 2025.**

**Duties**:

- Unpack, sort, check, crush and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment
- Safely follow standard operating procedures, and perform quality control checks as required
- Enter sample data into computer, ensuring accurate details

**Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma
- ** Fork Lift certification/license is an asset**:

- Ability to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis
- Hand-Eye coordination and attention to detail
- Intermediate computer skills
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a mature work ethic
- Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management
- Commitment to the production of accurate and timely results
- ** Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE properly and follow all safety protocols**:

- ** Must be flexible to work day and night shifts including weekends on a 4 days on 4 days off rotation**
