Our BC head office location is seeking a well-rounded, full-time **Lab Technician** to support our diverse and growing team.

**What you will do**:

- Maintain highly detailed records of the stages of development of tests and the final results thereof.
- Set up and run biological, microbiological, and biochemical tests and laboratory analyses to support research and quality control in pharmaceutical production, biotechnology, and other assigned projects.
- Perform specialized and complex experiments in such areas as molecular biology, cell culture, hybridoma.
- Maintain safe and efficient procedures in the laboratory; handle hazardous waste.
- Completes experiments assigned independently and conducts reports on data analysis and experiential learning and results.
- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect laboratory equipment and facilities.
- Operate laboratory equipment; contributes to laboratory maintenance.
- Perform library and online research.
- Deliver technical summaries of data with critical thinking skills to provide in-depth analytical explanations and interpretations.

**Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or training in relevant fields, such as cell biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology.
- 2+ years of work experience in the biotechnology lab.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with teams in the lab
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to go the extra mile to get it right

**Preferred**:

- Able to work flexible working hours when needed
- Able to identify and solve problems, provide solutions, prioritize and multitask
- Able to work under pressure
- Professional in mannerism, appearance and must be a team player.
- Mandarin, Chinese
