Our BC head office location is seeking a well-rounded, full-time **Lab Technician** to support our diverse and growing team.
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Assists and collaborates with the department to complete seasonal production plans which align Artron’s product quality policies.
- Receives and repeat the developed formulas from the Product Development department for production technique design and effectiveness optimization.
- Controls and reduces raw materials usage while increasing product stability and quality in a timely manner.
- Maintains effective communication with other biological production departments to ensure raw materials are ready by the deadline to support the next production steps.
- Takes part in the periodic training sessions for performance improvement, production accuracy and efficiency purposes.
- Ensures the product quality of the department employees aligning ISO 13485 standards.
- Completes the transformation from product development to the production plan, technique optimization, and new product line procedure standardization.
- Keeps effective and accurate records for all raw materials production and conducts reports for the QC department and later use.
- Ensures the materials are qualified for production use and monitors and supervises the production process.
- Maintains labortarory equipments and devices safety/sentilized and operates aligning with the health and safety standard.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or training in relevant fields, such as cell biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate with teams in the lab
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Willingness to go the extra mile to get it right
**Preferred**:
- 1+ years of work experience in the biotechnology lab.
- Able to work in a self-directed manner, demonstrate initiative, and are willing to work flexible hours.
- Able to think critically under pressure and is curious about exploring new technologies and developments in the field.
- Bilingual: Mandarin, Chinese
